This fuse is a time-lag product; it remains intact in the circuit when there is a non-fault pulse current and can provide protection for long-time overload. The regular fuses cannot afford such current, in this kind of circuit such fuse is used, if a larger rating fuse is used, the circuit cannot be protected in case of overload. Time-lag fuses` melting body is formed by special processing and it has the energy-absorbing function, adjusting the quantity of energy absorbed would be capable of resisting impact current and provide the protection to overload circuit as well. Time-lag fuses are used in such circuit, in which momentary current is several times greater than normal operating current when switching. The time of duration is very short though the peak current is very high. We often call such current a pulse current.
