April 16th - Littelfuse Company unveiled the smallest tube fuse series in the market today. When the rated current is 40A to 63A
and the AC voltage is 500V, the breaking current is 2000A. The 606 series of high current tubular fuses are designed for
overcurrent protection applications such as high voltage power circuits with rated power up to 23kW. Because of the use of
10mm x 32mm, the space required for a single 606 fuse is less than that of previous parallel multiple low rated current fuse
designs. Therefore, when designing high-power equipment, designers can reduce the reserved circuit board space for
protection components.
Typical applications of the 606 series of high current tubular fuses include:
Uninterrupted power supply for telecommunication equipment (UPS)
Power converters such as inverters and rectifiers
Power equipment for electric vehicles (EVSE)
Non vehicle charging pile
Motor protection of elevator system
The 606 series has a compact dimension that reduces the space used to protect the components on the circuit board, which
provides higher layout flexibility for the designers of high power devices. In addition to this advantage, compared to other
suppliers of similar fuse, its rated breaking current is lower, the rated current is higher."
The 606 series of high current tubular fuse has the following key advantages:
The smallest tube fuse series at 500V rated voltage on the market, the rated current is 40A to 63A, and the AC voltage is 500V,
the rated breaking current is 2000A.
It is suitable for overcurrent protection of single-phase power supply with rated power up to 23kW.
End cover with integrated shedding leads without installation of fittings and / or lead forming process.
The working temperature of this fuse is between -55 C and 125 C, which can provide reliable protection in extreme temperature
environment.
